Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is one of the most requested surgeries among aesthetic surgeries. The ideal size of the breast and the location it should be increases the confidence of female patients.

Breast tissue, starting from adolescence, goes through several stages of development and reaches the required size at the end of puberty. Hereditary reasons or what happens then affect the development of the breast which is sometimes not satisfactory. Breast size can decrease due to postpartum or weight loss and this causes the need for breast augmentation surgery.

The intervention that can give a more satisfactory and reliable result in breast augmentation surgeries is using silicone breast prostheses. There are two types of silicone breast implants that are used for these surgeries. These are implants with rise and fall (anatomical implant). The type and size of the implant will be decided according to the patient's breast size and the patient's pre-surgery. Puff implants provide more fullness in the upper part of the breast, while drooping (anatomical) implants can provide a more natural breast image.
